Jonathan's eyes widened as he saw the beautiful surroundings. He had never been out here before and already fell in love with the scenery. He took out his binoculars to look a far off. He saw a herd of Aptonoths and knew that was where he was going to get Raw Meat from. However, that group was across a river that he couldn't cross into.

Jonathan put away his binoculars and then started to walk through the area. It was then that he saw it. A small herd of Aptonoths. There was four full grown ones and a smaller baby one. He was bound to end up with at least five raw meats if he killed them all and carved. So as he went down towards them he stopped and looked around. He was near the closest one that didn't pay him any attention.

He knew that these herbivores where peaceful and usually ran away at the sign of danger. Though sometimes they got violent. He slowly made his approach towards one of them. He was trying to be the ideal hunter. He was stalking his target. When he got into range, he lunged forward and drew his Bone Kris and delivered a powerful slash to the monster's side.

With several more slashes, the Aptonoth fell to it's side and wriggled with it's last reflexes and died. Jonathan sheathed his weapon and did a small victory dance. He had taken down his first monster though it wasn't very dangerous. He then carved the monster twice and got two Raw Meats. He was done and set for the quest. However, he wanted to get some other things such as materials.

Jonathan decided to searching the area for various items. Not really knowing what he would find, he went to different areas searching several times before he found nothing else. The items that he found where three Scatternuts, five Huskberries, two Insect Husk, three Needleberries, a Dung, and a Kut-Ku Scale.

He was rather satisfied with what he found, but he thought that perhaps having some extra raw meat couldn't hurt. So Jonathan went up to the child sized Aptonoth just like he did the one earlier. He made sure that the others were not looking towards him when he attacked. He didn't want to spook them in any matter. He lunged forward from where he was at and struck it down with one hit.

Jonathan then continued to slash at the monster until it stopped moving and was dead. He looked both ways to see if any of the others were trying to attack him or possibly run away. It seemed as none of them were doing so. He carved the baby Aptonoth twice before the spoils got ruined. He had gotten two more pieces of Raw Meat with his kill.

Jonathan turned to see an Aptonoth trying to make a run for the river. His eyes widened as he knew if it were to make it towards the river that he wouldn't be able to stop it. He quickly sprinted after it and when he got in range slashed down the larger monster.

After two slashes the monster fell on it's side. Jonathan took the oppertunity and attacked violently until it stopped trashing on the ground. It laid perfectly still and it was dead. He sighed as he was glad that he would get two more carves from this monster. He carved twice and got another Raw Meat and a Sm Monster Bone. He knew that the monster bone was essential to creating and improving weapons. He nodded his head and then began to leave the area back towards the base camp.

Go to Area 1 and Area 3 and kill ALL the Aptonoths there. Carve every one of them to get Raw Meat and sometimes,Small Monster Bone.Go back to base camp to deliver your Raw Meat into the Delivery Box.
